gud day everyone..

just curious about something..
i want to use pic16f877a with sk40c and sc16a to control 12 servo motors and i have 11.1v li-po battery and 7.4v li-po battery..by the way i use servo motors c55r..

so my question is..can i connect the battery straight to the servo motor power source connector..or i need to build some circuit if i want to use the 11.1v battery as a source? i need to use the servo motors at maximum torque..the maximum volt for the servo is 7.2v..or i can just use 7.4v battery directly?

thx a lot! :?:

Hi,

If you use a fully charge of 7.4V rated battery, the actual voltage should be around 8V. This may spoil the servo sometime after usage. Is is advisable to use 6V only for Cytron servo motor. Therefore, you might need to regulate the power up to 6V.
