Coasting DC motor with MD30

Postby peper2001 » Sun Jul 27, 2014 5:19 am

Hi,

I've just bought a MD30C motor controller from Cytron.

I'm currently controlling the MD30C with the embedded potentiometer and pushbuttons.

My concern is that i'd like to have a coast mode for my motor i.e. a mode where a can turn the motor with my hand as freely as possible. For the moment, when I plug the battery, the motor is always in brake mode: I can barely turn the motor with with hand.

Also when I drive the motor, I'd like to make it run in a drive-coast manner and not drive-brake. Is it possible with this controller?

Thanks

Hi. We are sorry to tell you that the MD30C motor driver doesn't support coasting.
