Hi, may i ask which motor driver to use for Linear Actuator with
rated voltage = 12VDC,
current draw (max) = <2.5A

I'm using Cytron Uno.
I just want to move the actuator forward and backward with controlled stroke length...
for example, extract forward 30mm --> stop for 1sec --> backward 10mm

So, which motor driver should i choose? 2Amp Motor Driver Shield? or 10Amp DC Motor Driver?

Better to use shield md 10.

There is no motor that provide that function directly. the motor driver is to drive motor only, it do not know the displacement/distance the motor travel. You can try using delay, but it will not be accurate as the distance is time x speed. Speed might change due to power to the motor or load.

Yet, the motor driver that is suitable although it does not come with feedback will still the MD10 shield as suggested by Zam. Because it is shield.
