SmartDriveDuo 30A Motor Driver PWM problem

Hello,
we bought a SmartDriveDuo 30A Dual Channel Motor Driver, but we are experiencing problems with the PWM signal.

The vehicle consist of 2x 12V SLA batteries connected in series, a voltage regulator, Arduino UNO, the Dual Motor Driver and 2x 16.5A Brushed motors. This is how we connected it all together:

When we set the PWM signal to 150 or above, the motor driver run the motors perfectly, but when we set the PWM to below 150 the motors won't run. The DIP switch is set to 10110110. We have tried to power the arduino with an external battery with no luck.

The arduino test code is provided below:

Do you know how we can fix this?

Thanks in advance

Hi, mind capture a video to show the setup and response of the motor?

My guess would be the power below 150 (PWM duty cycle) is not enough to move the motor.

We have disconnected everything to use another motor driver. But these guys are having the same problem as us:

We tried using RC and it worked, but we need PWM.

Hi mekkadidrik,

Regarding the video that you share, we have response to them via email. If you notice, the DIP switch is still at Analog mode (01110100), which not suitable for PWM. We have ask the user to change the setting to PWM mode (10110100) and test again. Any result from them we will update here.

If you could provide videos of your hardware setup and how do you run the driver, it really helps.

Thanks.
