SmartDriveDuo-30 ground connection

Hello.

Can I connect the SmartDriveDuo-30 battery negative terminal to the SmartDriveDuo-30 GND connections?

I am using the motor battery to regulate to 5V for my controller.
The battery negative connection will go through the 5V regulator to the controller and back to the SmartDriveDuo-30 GND connections.

Yes, you can. The negative terminal is common GND.
