connecting MDDS30 to RC receiver in PWM mode

Postby BensonFilmworks » Sat May 23, 2020 5:14 am

I'm making an autonomous lawnmower, replacing my sabertooth controller with the MDDS30.
I need help connecting the pins from the RC receiver to the Cytron.
I need to control it using PWM. I'm not sure what the ANx and INx pins and the RC pins are used for.
If I send a PWM signal >1500 I want the thing to go forward, and PWM <1500 will reverse. Stop naturally would be 1500.
1. what pins on the cytron do I connect the PWM signal from my RC receiver to?
2. what DIP switch settings do I use?
I'm not using skid steering. One channel is for throttle. The other channel is for steering.
Thank you in advance.

You can connect the RC Receiver to the MDDS30 as follow.

Refer to the user manual for more details (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ost ... 7ragtocc3g)

Thanks.
