MDDS30 as speed controller for go kart

I was wondering if it was possible to use the MDDS30 as a speed controller for my kids power wheel. I see analog mode could be used with a hall effect throttle. From what i can tell the system auto brakes?
Basically is there a way I could set it up with variable gas and a brake pedals?

Although the MDDS30 can be used with hall effect throttle, but it doesn't support the extra brake pedal. The motor will be brake whenever the gas is let go.
