MDDS30 wont run motors

Postby odvratni » Thu May 04, 2023 5:29 am

Hello fellas.

I am a bit frustrated with my current setup, so I hope to somebody can help me out and show me that I doing something wrong here.

I am building RC lawn mower and my setup is:

Wheel chair motors 12-24V 250W
RC controler FS-I6 with FS-IA6 receiver
Test battery LIFEPO4 20V 4AH.

I have connected battery to VB + and VB-. Motors run normally when connected directly to the battery.

Motors are connected each on MRA and MRB, and MLA and MLB correctly.

When I power it on, only light that is on is pwr light.

DIP switches are all set in RC input mode, with all pins set to zero, as default.

Now, I would suspect that I have incorrectly connected FS RC controler, but let me first check with you. MRA, MRB, MLA and MLB buttons are used for testing, and nothing happens with motors when I press them.

This is my concern that is something wrong with my driver.

Am I doing something wrong, or this could be faulty driver.

Thank you,

Marko

A few photos or a video of how the actual setup and the error indicator LEDs response would be helpful for troubleshooting.
