Cytron doesn't provide the sample code for X-Y plotter. So you'll have to do the programming for your computer to control the SD02Bs.

I test run my stepper motor size 23 with SD02B. But when i test it, the motor change direction CW to CCW rapidly. Dont know why.. is it suppose like that or only rotate in one direction?

Might be wrong connection from stepper to SD02B.

i want build xy plotter...how to make my system to be servo system? so i the system can have closed loop. i have 2 motor and 2 motor driver.

If i want add rotary encoder, what type of interface driver i need?

If you are using stepper motors, you do not need a rotary encoder or any closed loop system. The position of the output can be calculated by how many steps your stepper motor has rotated. But you need to make sure that the stepper does not skip any step when operating.
With the power of dream, nothing is impossible...

Thank you..
Can SD02B use MATLAB as language?

You can control SD02B driver using MATLAB through UART communication.

Any sample sources to run stepper motor through SD02B direct from pc in MATLAB?
I couldn't create any function file to run the motor...plz help me

Never use the SD02 before, but I am trying to give some advise, might be helpful. To develop a program, try to look into the interface available first. Not the direct control.

If I am not mistaking, sich is saying that SD02 can be control through UART or normally it is being called COM on computer. I have never use MATLAB before, but I think you need to verify whether can MATLAB access to COM port. Most of computer base programming have access to COM port such as Visual Basic, Visual C, C#, LabVIEW, Java, etc. Once it is able to access (read and write) COM port, you have the passport to develop the further control, else you are still at the other side....... waiting

I have a question here...
if I supply a let say 1kHz frequency PWM to the driver, will the driver output the same frequency of pulses to the motor??

What if i supply more than 1kHz? cos from the user manual, the maximum speed is up to 1000 steps per second only...
