old version programmer V2007~2009

Excuse me...recently i found my old programmer cannot work with environment of vista and windows 7. programmer cannot detect the PIC and working under windows XP. is that any hardware update or latest PICkit version to ensure my old version programmer compatible with latest windows OS???

That's is a bit pelik :shock: .... I has been using UIC00A, I think you refer to this, since 2 years back and now use it on Win7, no problem occur! Din use on Vista.

Though now I am using the new version UIC00B, but tested UIC00A on Win 7 too. Might be the driver installation?

KSW, which old programmer are you referring to? UIC00A or other? Personally, I have been using UIC00A (old version), UP00B and UIC00B (new version) on Win XP, no issue found. Now I am using all these programmers on Win 7 Home edition, also with no issue. As for Vista, we do not have computer come with this OS, thus cannot really test it. Yet, there are several customer that uses Vista, also with no issue. Just might need to reinstall the driver.

go to microchip website, you can get all the software and formware update, if the tools / devices are still supported :)
