Pickit2 Vpp Voltage Level Error

No idea. I think it depends on their workload. With proper tools and equipments, it should be a piece of cake for cytron. There are only 8 transistors (may be mosfet), some diodes (may be zeners) and a 18F pic chip. Not many components to check.

I just bought 2 more UIC00B recently and besides I already have 2 more programmers that uses serial port which I homebrewed 2 yesrs ago. They are still working. 8-)

noien WROTE:LOL
How long will it take for the repair?
and a UIC00B is not cheap to me  and because of this ,my pic16f is burnt

I got no idea on how long they're gonna take to repair your programmer. But 1 thing I would like to comment here is, don't throw away your PIC cause I don't think the programmer burnt the PIC. AFAIK, the voltage of your programmer is too low and undervoltage won't spoil the PIC.

noien WROTE:I think I will sent it back for warranty since it is just 5months old.But how will it take for the troubleshoot team to repair it?
Thank you

Normally the product return will take 3 to 4 working days, anyhow, it depends on workload as Allen said. Some cases, we process the return in 1 to 2 days.

Haha.... think so because I got myself UIC00A and bought UIC00B when Cytron launched it, until now, no issue using these programmers. Did sent back the SK40C to them for the voltage regulator replacement, pretty fast, received it in 3 days including shipping

USB ICSP PIC Programmer V2010
ICSP Programmer Socket

so if I am using this 2.What should I tick in the pickit2 ?
tick the on and tick the /mclr too?

as when we wan to burn the hex file I saw the green light power of the USB ICSP PIC Programmer V2010 turn on for a moment. That means that it have sent 5v to the PIC isnt it?

Tick ON to supply 5V to the target. Red LED will be turned on.
Tick /MCLR if you want to keep the PIC in RESET mode.

No, the green LED should be turned on after you plug in the USB and stays on all the time.
During programming all 3 LEDs are on.
