voltage regulator for SK40C

Postby kcyong » Fri Feb 10, 2012 10:25 am

Recently I buy a SK40C and play around with it. I didn't realize my circuit have short circuit but i still connect it with SK40C. And after a few second, smoke come out from SK40C.

Is the voltage regulator in SK40C burn out? i measure the output voltage for the voltage regulator is 3.24V. So i plan to change the voltage regulator. Can i change it with voltage regulator 78L05? Which type of voltage regulator suitable for replace the voltage regulator in SK40C?

thank...

Hi,
You can get one of this regulator to replace the spoilt regulator.

Anyway, you can always send back to Cytron for warranty if the SK40C is still under warranty. Fill in the support form under that support tab. http://www.cytron.com.my/support.php

Warranty is valid for 6 months from the purchase date. Anyway, T&C apply. You just fill in the form and the support team will advise you.
