why the led is not blink?

may i know does connection of UIC00B programmer===>SK40C====>PIC16f876a or PIC16f887 having any problem or not ? because i wanna to test the function of the pic by blinking a led with simple program in C and asm altough the PIC2kit window showing some data in program memory and i also export the data from programmed pic in PIC2kit window and is all right but still unable blinking a led at all (before this i able am using the SK40C with pic16f876a in DIY set and is OK but i don't know what is the problem on this time),can someone let me know what is the problem because i wanna start to do my final year project , thanks for replying.....

PICkit 2 software shows "Programming Successful"? With your explanation, it's very little that we can do to help...

SK40C is 40pins starter kit while 16F876A is only 28pins. Are you referring to 16F877A?
