SK40C + PIC16F887 + UC00A problem

Postby monky91 » Mon Jun 18, 2012 3:13 pm

Hi guys, newbie here, do you guys have any idea how to troubleshoot my problem.

I have all the combination above, but my hyperterminal doesn't show anything, I follow exactly the same thing in http://tutorial.cytron.com.my/2011/08/1 ... -computer/

but no luck it is working, hyperterminal just wont get any signal, the RX and TX LEDs in UC00A blink once in a while, but there is no result in Hyperterminal.

Hi robosang, thanks for the prompt reply. I din change anything, its the original SK40C from cytron, PIC16F887 from cytron, and UC00A USB Uart Converter from cytron.

What I did is, burn the sample code from cytron tutorial (Project 13) and try to connect through Hyperterminal. (Connect via UC00A only, without power supply)

Why I didn't connect to power supply is because my friend spoilt a SK40C because the voltage is too high (I suppose)
