SK40C+PIC16F887 with ultrasonic range sensor

Can anyone please teach me step by step on how to use the MPLAB for programming ?
I got all the code and software too...just I duno how to set it up to make the LCD display...urgently rush it~~
Appreciate anyone that can help me^^
