Most of simulator simulate hex code only, never heard of simulator which can simulate C code, except that it integrate with C compiler.

yup!my meaning is what software can simulate and check the c code?

i think when the compiler compile the c code. if successful means that the code can run, but not necessary as desired on the hardware. what is the targeted hardware of your code?
