Project 0 --PICkit 2 -> No Device Found?

Postby metis » Wed Dec 05, 2012 9:22 pm

I follow the step by step video in SK40C, but when reach the step to connect the programmer to pc, my pickit2 show me "No Device Found". Each time I "Check Communication"', the sk40c board and programmer led did blink, but nothing happen, still no device found.

I am using UIC00B as programmer, SK40C board with PIC16F877A microcontroller.
Please help, Thanks.

Better check the VDD voltage. Is it 4.++ V?

Hardware seem good, connection is correct! Is Rev1 SK40C.... Yup, I would suggest to check the 5V point...

Get yourself a multimeter, turn to DC voltage, red probe at VDD of SK40, black probe at GND of SK40, what is the LCD show?
