when i try to import and program pic18f43k22 using the hex file generated in mplab, i find that the checksum for both of them is different. eg: Mplab check sum is 0x0e86 while the pickit 2 programmer shows 6F20

Have you encounter any problem with the program on actual hardware? It seem to be the calculation in PICkit2 programmer software, but it should work perfectly in the hardware if you program correctly.
