i'm currently try to make a motor starter or relay that can supply 25A to the motor. before this using IN5822 for the diode but the diode internally burned. can someone suggest any other suitable diode, or maybe a motor starter schematic diagram :?:

How about this, the MBR1635 Schottky Diode. Rated at 35V 16A. Available on Cytron (http://www.cytron.com.my/viewProduct.ph ... 0Rectifier)
It's the highest you can get at Cytron
