C40R & ARDUINO Problem

Hi guys, i recently purchased a c40r servo motor and an arduino uno... I'm pretty new to all of this, so i was attempting to try n control my servo motor using the arduino... i used the servo example given on the arduino IDE, but it only resulted in my servo moving in random motion... so i figured it could be a problem with the clock maybe? does the servo require a 20MHZ clock, or is the 16MHZ clock on the arduino sufficient? can you all please help me, i really need this urgently =(

Where you connect servo power? Servo supply need higher current, can't feed from arduino, USB or low energy battery.

Agreed with shahrul, high chance is due to insufficient current. USB is out of question :) You try 2A adapter/battery.

i dont understand how this works, either there is a problem with the servo, or i am doing it wrong... is the servo dependent on the voltage or the current?? when i attach an external 5-6 Volt voltage, it barely moves... when i attach the servo on the arduino 5v pin, it moves inconsistently and randomly.. the only thing that seemed to make it work is when i attached it to the arduino 3.3v pin- altho it was rotating accordingly, the rotations were not smooth at all... any help would be much appreciated :(

Do not supply the servo's power from Arduino Board if the Arduino is power from USB. You can try to power up the Arduino by using Adapter 2A.
