Frequency to voltage converter for DC geared motor

Postby sue » Fri May 03, 2013 1:47 pm

hello everyone ....
recently , i had bought DC geared motor SPG30E-300K...
currently i doing my controller(PID) for controlling DC motor speed and position for my project ... It appear that i need to know the value of frequency to voltage converter for the dc motor before i start designing the controller . For example hw volt i need to rotatethe motor shaft let say 30deg ????
need some advice and suggestion ....

Why do you need the freq to voltage converter? You can just control the motor directly with PWM. Of course you will need a hardware motor driver. For some information regarding PID, you may refer to http://tutorial.cytron.com.my/2012/06/2 ... ed-design/
