MDD10A DIR1 Problem

i have connect DIR1 from MDD10A to toggle switch. why when i toggle the switch on and off the motor didn't forward and reverse? but when i press button manually on the board, the motor working fine and doesn't have any problem..
its there any way to solve my problem?
URGENT..MY DEADLINE JUST AROUND THE CORNER :( :( :( :(

How is the connection made? Can you show us the connection from switch to the MDD10A? Showing the actual hardware connection would be better.
