Hi ,
I am using a MD10c R3 dc motor driver .
First of all simply i connected a SMPS of 24 V to the board and connect motor output to 24c dc motor rated 5A.
When i switch ON the power supply , SMPS output is 23 V. But when i use the test button on the MD10c board the motor didnt run and SMPS supply goes down to 6-7 volt. Is there a issue with the current rating ?
Because if i connect the motor directly to the SMPS it can easily run the same motor.
Cytron tech support person suggest me to connect a battery of same voltage in parallel with the SMPS to absorb the current from the motor.
But my application dont allow me to connect a battery . Is there any other alternative for the battery as i want to use the SMPS only as i am going to built a instrument which can drive the motor in both direction ?
Please guide me with the issue.

Mind sharing one or two photos of the SMPS, the hardware setup and motor?
