Hi everyone.

Let me start by saying that I have very little electronics knowledge.

I am building a motion enabled racing rig and I am using the following:

Arduino Uno
24v 220w DC Brushless Motor
Cytron MD13S (one each motor)
Meanwell Power Supply (LRS-350-24) 24v 14.6A (one each motor)
Polulu 3775 Shunt Regulator 26.4v 2.80 15w (one each motor) (I was told I needed this)


My question is:

How exactly do I connect the shunt regulator? Shall I connect it like the picture shows?
If so, what fuse value should I use?

Yes, you can connect the shunt regulator according to the diagram you posted.
The fuse and diode is optional. If you wish to connect a fuse, 15A is a good start.
