MDD20A

purchased a couple of the MDD20A but also ordered the MD20A singles. These modules work well controlling power window regulators, however the rotor lock position has no current cutoff. Just to confirm I put a current monitor on the voltage input of the board, and while running the track on bench it was around 2amps load. At the end of the tracks the motor consumes up to 11Amps on the main line. I was under the impression there was a current limiter on there to prevent burning out the motor is it's end of track. Motor is not burnt but I didn't want to hold it there and find out how long it could last :)

I think you will need an external circuit or controller to stop the motor at the end of the track. The motor driver alone doesn't know the position of the motor and it will not be able to stop the motor when it reaches the end.
