MD13S err on "rapid" change in pulse width?

Postby drlove » Tue Dec 19, 2023 6:41 pm

[SOLVED]
There was some interference between my current measuring board (INA219) and the MD13S board, after moving it to before the MD13S-board all is working great!

Hi,

We just received the MD13S that we use with a continuously rotating windshield wiper motor (12v, 2A, brushless).

When starting from 0% PW and increasing the motor sounds really bad and the Err LED is blinking.
When cranking it up to 100% the motor runs OK and no Err LED.
When slowly lowering PW from 100% everything is OK but if we do a rapid decrease/increase in PW the motor starts to sound bad and Err LED is flashing again.

What could be wrong?

Hi,

Are you powering up the motor from a switching power supply? Does it able to support the inrush current needed by the motor during acceleration?
With the power of dream, nothing is impossible...
