i read your servo motor information, all those description is about servo motor with 3 wires but what i bought is with just 2 wires which is red & black line and i just cant find another line which is used for signalling.

my servo motor type is cytron C36S.

Hi winz, I have moved this topic to DC motor, it is more relevant.

Seem like you have bought the 360 degree servo motor which have been modified. Under the product page of modified servo: http://www.cytron.com.my/viewProduct.php?pid=JxQUAxAVMDcoNjMqAB4iPEAEXJLN8nGLGDsRG6tHr!!!!!k=&store=, you will notice that the description stated there is only 2 wires and rotation of 360 degree. This is not a standard servo any more. It has become a normal DC motor with gear. You cannot control the position any more.

If you want to change the servo, please contact our sales at sales@cytron.com.my.

C17S is normal RC servo motor. So you're right. It has approximately 180 degree of rotation and the signal given to it should be 20ms pulse.

I totally use ur sample code on this C17S servo but it continuos rotate until at the end of its limit. Then I change the code to 1.5mS to get the centre position but the result was the same.I use PC USB 5V for supply to the PIC and the servo (I think this should be OK because this is only micro servo).I really need help on this.

I think that is the symptom of not enough power or wrong control signal to RC servo.... do change your power source to the servo.

Which sample program are u using? Can u specify? Usually the timing depends on many factors such as crystal value, PIC configuration, the program flow etc. Can u make sure the pulse is really at 20ms period?
