Power for C36R

Postby KMLee » Wed Sep 30, 2009 10:29 pm

Hi, i would like to know what is the power needed to run the C36R motor used in the PR23 multifunction mobile robot sold by Cytron Technogies.
Hereby, i would like to know the weight of the motor as well as it is needed in my project as i am unable to find the datasheet for this motor. Besides, C36R is the real model name for the motor or it has been renamed by Cytron? Thank you.

It depend on your load, when there is no load, the current will be less. You can simply measure it by connecting to power supply and adjust voltage to 6V and look at the amp meter. or use a multi meter to measure current.
