This device suitable for detecting hand clap? How to perform a circuit in order I can use as hand clapper receiver? Thank.

sure it can be used, but i am not sure how noisy is the output from the mic. a simple circuit with resistor connected to supply the power to the mic, then connect to analog input of the controller, read the analog value in a loop, if the voltage swing is higher than certain level then its considered clapping sound detected. or u can connect the circuit to a comparator circuit, bias the camparator for certain trigger voltage which can be considered as clap.

regards,
yh

The output from the mic might not be high enough to trigger the input for the PIC. Besides there are noises and wave shapes problems. Look at the schematics in this article and the explanation why you need them.

The schematic below just uses an op-amp to amplify and filter off the unwanted signals. You dont need to use the flip flops if you are connecting it to a PIC.
