Hi, i'm confusing with the pin of db9 female R/A if i'm using IC-MAX-232 is the connection similar to RS 232, pin 2 is TX, pin 3 is RX, and pin 5 is GND? I found from Google, the information state that pin 2 is RX, pin3 is TX, pin 5 is Gnd for max 232 does it true? Also, the connection DB9 Female R/A + IC MAx 232, normally 3 main pin of db9 is use is it? For example, pin RXIN (db9) connect max 232 pin 13, for Pin TXOut(db9) connect to max 232 pin 14 and last pin5(db9) connect to ground and remainder pin are not use or connected is it?
