i already test my sensor and intergrade with programming...and also already measure the output voltage, the output almost same acroding to the datasheet for below then 80cm...the problem is when the in front object with distance over then 80cm the output signal up to 1.2V.almost same with distance 20cm. what actually happen?it is my sensor was damaged?

somebody help me..

Refer to analog distance datasheet http://www.cytron.com.my/datasheet/sens ... 0A21YK.pdf, the output voltage will decrease when the distance is increase. But it is valid only for distance range from 20cm - 80cm.

emm....tq you are right..i already refer on the datasheet but my problem is why my ouput voltage for distance over than 80cm is about 1.5V.?whether the sensor is broken?

What's the analog reading for distance between 20 to 80cm? Can you check it out and let us know?

Distance
(cm) Output Voltage (V)
10 2.47
20 1.84
30 0.94
40 0.73
50 0.61
60 0.53
70 0.5
80 0.4

seem that the sensor working fine. Anyway the data sheet of state that detection range is from 10 to 80, even the graph also show the voltage until 80 cm only, thus I would say that out of the range it can be any voltage.
