hi,
IR01A, medium range Infrared sensor is digital. its giving 1 and 0 only. the threshold for 1 or 0 is adjusted using the preset on the sensor. its obstacle sensor, which sense the present and absent of things in front it.

yh

Declare in what method? Just label or assign pin for it?
As long as it is digital input, you can assign any label for it.

for connection process, do u have a safety ways to make a connection of ir sensor to SK40C, means that it we just simply connect by using simple wire or need to used connector at ir sensor, then, used wire?do u have a better suggestion? just ask ur opinion....coz i heard that device very sensitive

hi,
it needs simple connection only direct connection is possible if its connected to 5V microcontroller.
if u really wan protection, u can connect resistors on the signal pin of the sensor.
