can sum1 help me..
i wanna use cytron product Air Contaminant Sensor SN-TGS-2600 sensor
as my gas sensor...the question is, do the sensor can detect butane or LP gas??
as i go thru the datasheet the sensor can detect iso-butane gas but not butane gas...
do iso butane can also detect butane or LP gas?? if can't,is thre any suggestion regarding ths gas sensor..

i need ths a.s.a.p
pls help me...tq

TGS2600 is for detecting general air contaminants. There's TGS2610 which is designed for Butane & LP gas only. However, TGS2600 might works since butane is considered air contaminant too. Besides, isobutane and butane only differ in terms of molecule structure. Although that may cause them to have different characteristics, but my advice is to have a try first if you can't get TGS2610.
