PIR SENSOR NOT WORKING

Recently i bought PIR sensor from cytron, when i connect the sensor to 8051 microcontroller, the sensor does not produce any logic output, i test the output using led and also programming.

the wire connected at output of PIR SENSOR is connected to one microc 8051 port

there is no output present. output is checked using correct program and also measured using multimeter but there is no logic or voltage.

Try to troubleshoot it first. Connect +5V and Gnd only, then check using multimeter/oscilloscope the output of the sensor.
Request for complete solution for FYP? Why don't request for graduation certificate?

my sensor is working now, it can produce output but, it produce logic 1 when there is no people,
how to solve this problem?

hello ,

i see from the user manual that there are 2 modes of operations: retrigger and Normal. which mode u are operating the sensor?
