Smoke sensor TGS 2600

I would like to know how to use this thing? how actually its working, if i wan to use to detect smoke of cigarette, how should i build it?

You can take a look at one of our DIY project, PR15, one of the sensor is TGS2600.

This device need to pre-heating? What actually means by pre-heating for 7 days?
