I want to interface this sock sensor with the atmega16. can i do this?

ya, i think u can. the sensor has 3 pins only, 1 for power one for the signal. so use the controller to read the signal pin.

Why don you just place order with Cytron? I think they ship internationally, right?

i was just wandring that is it compatible with the atmega 16m or not. and i got the anwer. and budle of thanks for this bro !!!1
