Inductive Proximity sensor

Postby Jonathan Law » Thu May 16, 2013 7:24 pm

Hi,

I have one inductive proximity sensor with three wires, which is input voltage, output voltage and signal wire.
This sensor need to be powered minimum of 6V until 32V. I supplied 9V to this sensor by using 9V battery, it is functioning well where it gives approximate 9V signal if metal object detected.
My question is how to connect it with Arduino's analog pin for a stable ADC conversion with default reference voltage of 5V?
Need some circuitry advice from anyone who's expert on this.
Thanks.
