Hi guys, I have a question which has been bugging me for awhile now...i had purchased the MQ-3 Alcohol gas sensor with breakout board http://www.cytron.com.my/viewProduct.php?pcode=SN-MQ3

Based on the Schematic there is a capacitor attached to pin H of the sensor..what is the function of the capacitor? your replies would be greatly appreciated

what is the max. and min. distance of the MQ-3 Alcohol Sensor to detect the alcohol gas??

The sensor can only let you know the amount of Alcohol in the air, you must ensure it is close enough for it to sense like the sensor use by police.
