Infrared Sensor

Postby MaHooo » Wed Aug 27, 2014 12:36 am

Using the Infrared sensor switch (SN-E18-D80NK) or any of the infrared sensors. Can this be set up to detect the strength of the infrared received. Lets say anything above the threshold (>500) strength (either through light received or voltage produced) will switch on a light bulb and anything below will not. Does this make sense?

I've read that it can be used as a block or unblocked sensor, just wondering if this can be done.

NO so sure what you are trying to do. IR sensor will receive infrared rays only and infrared level is low in indoor.
