How to calculate maximum current?

Postby spammermanager » Mon Feb 21, 2011 6:02 pm

Hello :D ,

If here is a LiPo battery with 11.1 V 2200mAh and 25C, how can I find the maximum current of this battery without using multimeter?

Some says just multiply 2200mAh with 25C so that the maximum ampere is 55A. Is that correct?

Thank you.

Theoretically is correct. That is if the battery is fully charged and in good condition.

Yes, we are using LiPo batteries for most of our robots.
