Hi, what you mean by freeze? is the servo HOLD on its position? It is normal if the servo motor turn to initial position and hold at that position. After that, did you try to adjust the slide bar? is the servo move according to the slide bar? Or you mean the GUI program "hang"?

I think he meant the GUI "hang", it might be the communication problem? SC08A is servo controller? How is being connected to computer?

sorry, the GUI program "hang" when i press "active 8". cant move the slide because the GUI program "hang" .the servo only move when i press the "test" button on SC08A. i connected the hardware to my laptop according to SC08A manual. any idea to solve this problem?

Is the USB to SC08A connection correct? Is PC able to detect the comport, do not choose the wrong comport? And the TX and RX line from UC00A/B (if you are using this) to SC08A is correct?

The program "hang" most probably due to the connection between SC08A and computer.

A printscreen of the laptop and a photo of the setup might be useful I think... What is the USB to SC08A connection?

Yes, a photo of the setup might be useful. The connection between UC00A and SC08A must be correct, UC00A's TX to SC08A's RX and UC00A's RX to SC08A's TX. There are few cases which users connect the wire wrong causing the GUI hang, eventhough computer can detect the comport. However, if you sure the connection is correct, you can request for warranty and we will verify the causes. Please fill in the form in the support tab which located at Cytron page. Our support team will reply you as soon as possible.
