Should have no problem with that OS. Seems to be a tough question and somehow self-contradictory too... Hm...must find out a way to troubleshoot it 'effectively' first.

So have you send back the other UIC00B that you say is still bad after they warranty it? What did they say about that?

BTW, I have been using UIC00A and change to 2 pcs of UIC00B, using Win XP and Win 7 32-bit, without problem too. Kind of weird to see your condition.

I must say UIC00B is a very successful product from cytron. It has gone through one revision from "A" to "B" and has a stock level of 139 which is quite high. Due to fierce competition from the rest of the world esp. China, the UIC00B is very reasonably priced.

I have checked through half the product inquiries and only 2 or 3 are complaining malfunctions of the device and were mostly called back for repair. All 3 of my UIC00B were bought during the crazy sale on 2010 and 2011. So to say I am quite pleased with the device.

Either you're very unlucky or you've abused the proggrammer. I think cytron has done their best to support you. You only sent the device to them once and they repaired for you (FOC??) and gave you a rm10 voucher to cover your postage. When you complained that the repaired item is not working, they immediately sent you a new one to compensate you. Now you said your new one is also not working and you expected them to sent a team of technicians to go to your campus to investigate the problem. :? Wouldn't that be too much??

Though I'd be very very curious  to know what is/are the reasons that caused all your frustrations/problems, I think it would be unfair for cytron to keep on sending you new UIC00B. If I were Cytron, I would give you a total refund if you send back both faulty UIC00B and I(cytron) would find out what is the problem in the lab and post the findings in this forum. OR give you a special offer to buy the original PICKIT2 or PICKIT3. Would that make you happen ?
