Movable Robotic Arm

Im zero and I've nothing,
this is my final year project, Im going to make a movable robotic that can move and object from one point to another using gripper.
I need to know what is the requirement material that suitable for this project
What is the suitable motor, controller, kind of hardware for this project
what i should do in the first place to handling the project?

Normally use servo. Controller, you can use any controller you know because servo is easy interface.

everything that needed is commonly servo isnt? how about the PIC anyway? what the most suitable for it?

Search cytron webpage, SC08A is one of their Servo controller, SK40C is a starter kit by them.

Thanks for the information, but if i want to use servo controller for the movement of the arm and for the gripper. do I need a pair of the SC08A and SK40C? It might be costly for me :(
