Your MCLR pin not wired? Should be wired to VDD through a 10k resistor.. ;) Also, one side connected to VDD and VSS the other side?

Eh I use that programmer kit, I'm lazy to do wiring so I bought that kit to help me program. So every time I need to program, I have to remove the PIC and place on that kit to burn the program.

The MCLR pin need to be connected to VDD through 10k to prevent the PIC from reseting. You shouldnt have bought the kit if you are that lazy. Connect VDD GND PGC and PGD to the programmer and leave it. When you want to reprogram just click reprogram. Doesnt that sounds easier and lazier 8-). Beware not to power it from the usb and also your external power at the same time if you do this.

Yes, if you are lazy, you should get kit like SK40C or SK28A. PIC stay on the board while you load program or running program.
