IR receiver and trainsmitter

Postby jerryjw » Sat Nov 11, 2017 11:23 pm

Hello everyone,
I am doing a universal IR remote control project where I can replicate the information in the TV remote control and embed it in my microcontroller so that i can control the TV using the microcontroller instead of the normal remote control.
I need a transmitter and a receiver but I am not really sure which kind of receiver and transmitter I should get.
can these be used:
Transmitter : https://www.cytron.io/p-sn-ir-t?search= ... n=1&page=2
Receiver : https://www.cytron.io/p-sn-ir-r?search= ... n=1&page=2
OR
IR sensor set: https://www.cytron.io/p-sn-irs-01?searc ... n=1&page=2
Thanks in advance ! :D

Hi jerryjw,

My opinion is, you can use the IR Tansmitter, but for receiver I suggest to use Grove - Infrared Receiver.

Anyway, this is suggestion only, I can't guarantee it is 100% works. You need to experiment with it.

Hope this helps.
Cytron Technologies invest time and resources providing tutorial, training and support for STEM education and maker movement. We need your support by purchasing products from Cytron Technologies. Thanks.
