Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Ethernet port not working

Hi all, please help. My raspberry pi network port not functioning. The indicators LED also not light up. :(

bought a new Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ today and a new micro SD. ... Is there a way to test if the lan port is working ? ... Usually it works without a problem but there have been some reports on Raspberry Pi. Help me out please
