Line follower robot using PID controller??

I want to make a line follower robot using PID controller for my FYP. How can i attach the circuit of IR sensor to the PID controller because as i know, there is no port for IR sensor in the PID controller... Plz help me...

What type of PIC controller are you using? Frankly speaking, never heard a PID controller that specially designed for line following... :shock:

If you are studying in an engineering course in a college, you may bump into this a lot. :)

Maybe you should try Cytron DIY project, I did see some one asking about PID, not sure whether is for line following. Let me take a look.....

OK, is not line following, is a motor positioning control. Yet, I think the concept is similar, try to look at the source code and study it, the DIY project is PR24.
